Vintage Ted Blocker Mountaineer FA83 Rig FA83. This is cordovan brown leather with adjustable shoulder and back strap. This holster will fit a Freedom Arms Model 83 or similar with scope up to 8 1/2". Leather, stitching and hardware all in very nice condition..
The Mountaineer is the ultimate field holster for handgun hunters. The adjustable harness is designed to distribute the weight of the pistol, providing a comfortable and effortless way to carry long-barreled revolvers. The holster can be positioned either across the chest for complete freedom of arm motion or high under the arm and out of the way while traveling over rugged terrain. The Mountaineer is constructed with top-grain cowhide and metal hardware and is available for revolvers and scoped revolvers.
