    This is a vintage San Francisco KYA BEAT NEWSPAPER from June 25th, 1966. VOL 1 No. 48. Radio station KYA put out an awesome "teen" newspaper in the 60's filled with incredible articles and tons of GREAT PHOTOS. News on the latest pop and rock stars, local S.F. Bay Area groups, British Invasion, etc., with interviews, editorials & top 30 song survey. INCLUDED IN THIS ISSUE: The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Supremes, Len Barry, Walker Brothers, The Turtles, Bob Dylan, The Sunrays, Van Morrison and Them, The Robbs, The Kingston Trio, Johnny Sea, Glenn Yarbrough and more. Back cover shows this weeks KYA Top 30 survey chart with The Animals “Don’t Bring Me Down” in the #1 position, and The Rolling Stones "Paint It Black" in the 2nd position.
    From a recently purchased collection, the condition varies slightly on these newspapers, but all are in amazing shape for their age, with just some general wear (mostly around the edges) such as small folds, discoloration or worn edges. One small 1/2" tear on this one. It measures a large 12" x 15" unfolded.
