Vintage 1950's SHURE DY30/51 Microphone tested and working w/desk stand

Offering a vintage
1950's SHURE Model DY30 Dynamic Microphone with desk stand
. (
The DY30 was the OEM version of the more common model 51 microphone. Variations on this model were made for other vendors of paging and communications systems.)
This one is in
good overall physical condition
some very mild signs of use and chrome wear, but free of any broken or bent ribs. The original dynamic pickup is intact and providing
hot, full-fidelity audio
. (The "LMH" impedance switch on the front functions in all 3 positions.) The
original burgundy windscreen cloth is intact and good shape
. The mic stand threads are clear and undamaged and the frontal Shure badge is intact...the blue Shure ID badge on the grip portion has wear but still readable.
The
heavy-based
mic stand is included
. This mic requires a 3 pin Amphenol connector which we can be purchased separately, or we can build a custom cable. Overall, this is a
good looking, clean and working microphone
ready to go back into service or fill a gap in your vintage microphone collection.
