Vintage 1940s Shure Bullet Crystal Harp Microphone...Read...Look!

Hi Everyone! Up for auction is a vintage 1940s Shure crystal bullet harp microphone that is complete and original with 99-131 crystal element all in fair shape. The cord is cut and there are no dents or major scuffs or paint loss however around the base where the microphone screws into its stand there appears to be a couple of stress cracks in the metal (see and zoom in on photo 6). The paint on the microphone shell also has cracking here and there due to age (zoom in on photos to see cracking of the paint) and the front chrome grill is in good shape with some dulling and wear but looks good all in all. The original element is probably bad and it is untested and will be sold "as-is" for parts or restoration. Please view all photos and ask all questions before bidding.
