This beautiful Maple wood slab has nice grain throughout, and is an excellent shape and size for a unique custom bar top, countertop or vanity. As is typical of live edge slabs cut from salvaged logs, this slab has some staining and small bark inclusions.  So-called defects like these are what give live edge slabs their rustic character and natural appeal. Why Our Slabs Are The Best:
We use mostly urban logs that we buy from arborists that were removed because they were dying or damaged in storms.
Our band sawmill can cut up to 70” wide and 40’ long
Our chain sawmill can cut up to 108” wide
All of our live edge slabs are properly air dried for 1 to 5 years, then we finish drying them in one of our 2 custom vacuum kilns. These custom computer controlled vacuum kilns produce very high quality drying of our slabs.
After the slabs are dried, we sand them flat and clean up both faces.

We are one of the oldest and largest sawmills in the country that specialize in sawing, drying, and selling wide live edge slabs.

Our slabs are stored in four huge buildings in vertical stacks for easy customer viewing if you are able to make the trip!

Shipping Details:
Each slab order is shipped in a fully enclosed custom built wooden crate to ensure safe transit. These crates must be shipped to you by freight truck. You will need to provide us with your complete delivery address and whether this location is commercially or residentially zoned so we can accurately arrange your shipment.
